WHEN DO I NEED A TOOTH FILLING?
Tooth decay is a process caused by bacteria, the essence of which is that the minerals in the tooth are dissolved under the influence of bacterial acids. As a result, the dental material weakens, softens and creates a cavity. Fortunately, tooth decay can be avoided by maintaining proper oral hygiene and regular dental check-ups. However, if the problem has already happened, a filling is needed. Today's modern composite filling materials enable the perfect, aesthetic restoration of teeth. WHAT IS THE FILLING PROCESS?
In the first step, we thoroughly examine the teeth, if necessary, take digital X-rays and discuss the treatment plan. Local anesthesia is then applied to make the procedure completely painless. As soon as the teeth to be treated have become numb, we start cleaning them, and after removing the decayed parts, we insert the filling material into the cavity. After we have created the right shape, we illuminate the filling with blue light, as a result of which it hardens. Then we set the filling to the right height and polish it.
WHEN CAN I EAT AFTER THE TREATMENT?
Eating is limited only by the local anesthetic injection, as we can easily injure ourselves due to the numbness. Accordingly, as soon as the effect of the anesthetic wears off, you can eat.
