Dental CT is a precise, 3D advanced imaging procedure that provides detailed information about the condition of the oral cavity.
Want to know exactly what’s going on deep inside your teeth and jaw? Feel like traditional x-rays don’t give you a detailed enough picture? Dental problems and lesions often remain hidden, which can have serious consequences later on:
Dental CT can help you prevent all of this! Using the latest technology, we can get a detailed, three-dimensional image of your oral cavity, so we can make an accurate diagnosis and provide targeted treatment.
Dental CT, also known as CBCT, is the state-of-the-art imaging technology you need for accurate diagnoses and successful dental procedures. Whether it’s dental implants placement, wisdom tooth extraction or bone grafting, CBCT imaging provides a detailed, three-dimensional picture of your oral cavity and jaw. Trust our experts and get ready for the safest and most up-to-date dental care!
A dental CT scan gives you an accurate picture of the condition of your teeth, jaw and surrounding bone structures down to the smallest detail. This advanced three-dimensional imaging technique allows dentists and oral surgeons to make precise diagnoses and plan procedures with the utmost accuracy.
This avoids hidden problems and ensures the success of treatments, whether it is dental implants placement, wisdom tooth removal or even cavity detection. Dental CT is therefore an essential tool for safe and effective dental care.
Do you want a real dental diagnosis?
With dental CT, we can accurately plan the location, size and angle of the implants to ensure the success of the procedure. 3D imaging is essential to accurately assess the position of wisdom teeth and surrounding structures. The CT scan provides a detailed view of the sinus and jawbone, which is essential for a successful procedure. Dental CT helps to reveal hidden inflammations, cysts and other lesions that cannot be detected by other scans. It is essential for the accurate mapping of complex root canals and possible lesions.
Our dental hygienists and assistants are up to date with the latest knowledge to help you get the care you need.

Dr. Molnár extracted my teeth, replaced my bone and placed dental implants to the missing areas. I can finally chew properly again.
The doctor (Dr. Boglárka Kenyeres) and her assistant were extremely kind and patient with me, even though I was 10 minutes late due to being stuck in an accident traffic jam, but they were very understanding. It was almost as if I had been going there for a thousand years and it was my first time but I didn’t feel like a stranger to the doctor or the assistant. I am very grateful that they waited for me with a smile in the office, which took a lot of fear off me because unfortunately this is not the reception in other places, especially after a few minutes with a knife…

The doctor (Dr. Virág Bognár) extracted my wisdom tooth in a few minutes, of which I felt nothing thanks to the anaesthetic. She informed me about everything during the process, reassured me, this is how I imagine a perfect tooth extraction.

The kindness with which they welcomed me dispelled all my fears, and the doctor approached my problem professionally. I think I made the right decision to choose him as my dentist.

The young doctor is thorough, precise, extremely skilful!! The anaesthesia did not hurt at all, even though I am terrified of needles. I will definitely choose her next time.
Usually I am scared at the dentist, but not here. Thank you very much

Before the CBCT scan, you must remove all metal objects such as jewellery, glasses, hairpins and put on a lead-lined protective vest for radiation protection.
The dental assistant will adjust the position of the machine and ask you to place your chin on the chin rest. To ensure the correct position, you will be asked to hold a plastic device between your teeth during the test.
The dental CT scanner rotates around your head and takes just 20-40 seconds to take the 3D CBCT scan. This process is completely painless and quick.
You can view the image immediately and the dentist will evaluate it (if you request a consultation). If necessary, the image is burned to DVD or transmitted digitally.
If you need further consultation, the dentist will discuss the image in detail with you and suggest further treatment.

A dental CT (3D CBCT) is a three-dimensional imaging technique that provides a more detailed and accurate picture of the oral cavity and teeth than a panoramic radiograph. This allows for accurate diagnosis and the development of a precise treatment plan.
Dental CT is most commonly used before dental implants placement, wisdom tooth removal, bone grafting, sinus lifting and dental focal infections search.
Dental CT involves minimal exposure to radiation and the modern equipment used in the procedure, such as a lead vests, further reduces the amount of radiation, making it completely safe.
The entire examination, including preparation, usually takes 20 minutes. The CT scan itself takes about 20-40 seconds.
No, a dental CT scan is completely painless. The patient is in a comfortable, stable position during the scan and does not experience any discomfort.
Before the examination, all metal objects such as glasses, jewellery, hairpins, piercings should be removed as they may interfere with the imaging. During the procedure, the patient wears a lead gown to minimise radiation.
After the scan, you will receive the image on a disk or you can access it by email. You can easily view the images at home.
Dental CT can accurately detect abnormalities of the jaw, sinus and teeth, such as inflammations, cysts, tumours, and the condition of the teeth and bones.
Generally, dental CT is not recommended during pregnancy unless it is unavoidable in consultation with your doctor. In this case, special care is taken to minimise the radiation.
A dental CT scan has a resolution of up to 100 micrometres, which gives a very detailed picture of the structure of the teeth and jaw, allowing even the smallest abnormalities to be detected.
The dental CT scanner fixes the patient at several points to minimise distortions caused by movement. If the image is blurred, the scan can be repeated quickly.
Dental CT gives a more detailed and accurate image, allowing more precise diagnosis and treatment. In addition, 3D images allow the doctor to better understand the complex structures of the teeth and jaw.
Preparations are minimal, mainly limited to the removal of metal objects. During the procedure, the patient wears a lead gown to minimise radiation exposure.
