What is the difference between direct and indirect veneers?
A direct veneer is made from a layered composite filling material applied directly on the tooth by the dentist, whereas an indirect porcelain veneer is made in a laboratory and then bonded to the tooth by the dentist. Direct composite veneers can be prepared immediately, whereas indirect porcelain veneers require several steps.
How durable are dental veneers?
